used to make vanilla and it has a nice tight fit for a cork. I can hold it upside down filled with liquid with out an accident, so that will tell you how nice the cork seals. -

I like the corked bottles and am making vanilla in them. I will transfer to amber bottles when done. I like the clear bottles as it allows me to see the 'process'. -
