   You have to cut the beans in half so they will fit. Great jar for making your own extract!

    The bottles look nice, but they drip when you pour out the vanilla. I purchased 8 bottles and had the same problem with each of them.

    Nice enough bottles but pricey. My complaint with them is after I washed them in the dishwasher prior to making the vanilla the metal became spotted and degraded. Consequently, they don't look new and shiney now. Kind of a drag when they cost so much.

    We bought this to keep flavored simple syrup in for cocktails. Right now it is holding Lavender and Vanilla Bean simple syrup. I did knock the bottle over in the frig and didn't notice until later. There was no spillage. The bottle is nice but I sometime have a hard time opening it.

    Received my order quickly. There was no damage to any of the contents. The swingtop to the bottles is a little stiff at first but that's probably a good thing; they seal very well. I am making eight bottles of vanilla extract as Christmas gifts and I think they will be very well received - they are very pretty. BTW, I used Dripping Springs vodka - gotta go with the Texas brand!
