There is a cookie that I do every year for the holidays and the vanilla I used before never held it's own with all the other flavors. This vanilla is wonderful and pushed the cookie from good to grand according to the people who happily ate all of them.

I use this in custard base for ice cream. I have found that when I use the Tahitian 2x extract instead of the Tahitian Bean (which is lovely!) that my ice cream is creamier. Possibly ice crystals are forming around the pulp and seeds. I love both products, but will probably reserve the beans for a non-frozen recipe.

Delicious. And I can't believe the price. I did buy a large amount--a pint-- but since it is double strength vanilla, it is probably one-tenth the price of any other vanilla I have found. I have always looked for vanilla on sale and bought several when it was on sale, but lately I have been greatly resenting what I have to pay. No more! And with low shipping cost (less than $4), buying online is just a no-brainer. P.S. Great Christmas gift! You save money AND look generous! What a deal.
