Our sweet and spicy, sticky and delicious barbecue chicken wings with Tonga vanilla beans will become a staple in your house all year long. In this BBQ wings recipe, our whole Tonga vanilla beans add a rich and smoky flavor to homemade barbecue sauce, your family and friends will beg you for more!

There is no need to deep fry your wings, the chicken wings can simply be baked to a crispy brown and tossed with our delicious homemade vanilla barbecue sauce. (Be sure to make a few extra batches, I guarantee these will the star of the buffet table!)

Barbecue Wings

Yields one dozen

Ingredients:

12 raw chicken wings
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place wings on baking sheet and lightly salt and pepper wings. Bake 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Ingredients:

Tonga Barbecue Sauce

1 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 garlic clove finely minced
½ tsp. red pepper flakes
1 Tonga vanilla bean

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a small sauce pan and whisk to combine. Heat on low heat for 5 minutes until flavors meld together.

Toss the vanilla barbecue sauce with the wings and enjoy!
