   The Bourbon beans I received were not as plump as the Tahitian beans but oh, so much better then what I would find at a grocery store. I imagine that is just the difference in the type of beans. I will continue to order from Beanilla. Delivery is always excellent.

   I love these beans, and they're priced very reasonably. My only complaint is that the bags they come in do not reseal. I ordered from Beanilla a year ago or so and had a resealable bag then. Much easier to store.

    These vanilla beans were a great option for someone looking to try out the brand, and only in need of a few for baking (I got the package of 10). The package was a little difficult to open, and was not reusable, but otherwise, I would absolutely buy these again / recommend them.

    This was my first time purchasing vanilla beans. I was highly impressed with the excellent price as they were so much more expensive to buy in the stores. The smell is so good you will want to pre-heat the stove and get to baking right away! The beans are plump and beautiful as well and look great in a bottle when making vanilla extract.

    This is my first time purchasing vanilla online, and I am so pleased with how this turned out. The vanilla beans came by mail, which is great since I had such bad problems with FedEx. They came in bubble wrap packs, and sealed perfectly. When I cut into a bean, it was so plump and smelled so enticing. Not like anything I had experienced before, since I had previously bought my beans from stores. I am so pleased with how this has turned out so far.

    Very mild vanilla flavor, not as strong as I expected. Use a whole bean to make 1 quart of ice cream, scaped the beans and soaked overnight. Expected stronger vanilla flavor.

    I ordered 1/2 pound of Bourbon beans, and when they arrived, I couldn't wait to open the package. They smelled amazing, and almost all of the beans were amazingly plump and juicy. Made my vanilla, it's been steeping since October, and is awesome. I also did vanilla sugar, and love the way it tastes when I bake with it. So great! Can't wait til I have a little bit more money so I can order again!

    This was my first purchase from Beanilla, and my first time buying gourmet vanilla beans anywhere. My order was received in about a week, and the beans were as fragrant and beautiful as advertised online. I had quite a few thin beans, bringing my 1/2lb package total count to 76 instead of 50, but customer service explained this happens sometimes at the end of the growing season. My beans went right into bottles for vanilla extract gifts and my friends and family are so impressed at how affordable and easy it is to make such a fabulous gift. I'll definitely order again!

    I was a little confused- the description said that there would be an average of 50 beans in 8 oz, but I ended up with about 64 or 68- can't remember now. I don't know if this means the ones I got were unusually small or what that means in terms of quality. Most of the beans were nice big, fat, and moist, but several (maybe 10?) were very thin and a few were extremely dried out at one end, so much so that I could not split them all the way to the end to scrape the caviar. Overall, I was very pleased and I feel my gift recipients will be very happy with their extract and vanilla sugar.

    bought this to make my own extract and real vanilla custard with the fresh eggs from my chickens. The vanilla custard was great, and the extract is in the works. The packaging was good, it came in a small padded envelope (nothing annoys me more than a small product in a giant shipping box!).

    Wonderful aroma, soft and very fresh. Easy to cut lengthwise. I have them in a 12 ounce bottle of Vodka so make my own Vanilla Extract. Can't wait to try it in a few months. Immediately turned the vodka to a light caramel color so I can just imagine the rich color it will be in a few months. Will definately keep Beanilla Trading company in my favorite websites.

    This is my second purchase from Beanilla. The first was for 25 vanilla pods. This one was for 1/2 pound. That should say it all! I make my own vanilla extract and use it in my baking and as gifts. The vanilla bean chart on this site tells you all you need to know to be able to choose the type of bean you need. My first visit I had no idea there was more than one kind. So glad I came here. Not only are they the perfect bean for what I make, the packaging is excellent, they are shipped extremely fast and they are fresh and plump when they arrive. Other sites I checked were not helpful at all and most were much more costly. Vanilla pods from the local grocery store are $17 for three here. For a little more than twice that I bought 1/2 a pound. For what I was spending for a months supply of vanilla extract, I can make enough for a year, including the spirits. What a bargain!

     Seemed a little more flat than the Madagascar one, which might be a bit plumper. I haven't used it yet for anything, but it smells really nice. Milder than the Madagascar, and the price was lower.

     Arrived quickly and in a nice resealable pouch. The beans were so fresh and these beauties now soak in vodka for my Christmas gift of home made vanilla--can hardly wait! I will order from Beanilla again. Products and pricing are both excellent and their website is an education!
